Viewpoint Catalogues
Viewpoint Catalogues segment your IT Catalogues suited to different perspectives and enable useful filtering of IT Repository information and IT Catalogue data. You can also save your document outputs under Viewpoints supporting a better Enterprise Structure of your digitised IT Operating Model.
Purpose of Viewpoint Catalogues
Viewpoints in Enterprise Modelling provide tailored perspectives on repository data, enabling users to view and analyse information relevant to their roles.
By offering role specific viewpoints, each user role can easily access relevant data without being overwhelmed by unrelated information. This boosts collaboration, as different roles such as Business Process Owners and Solution Architects can share perspectives to ensure business needs are met. Enterprise Modelling believes this promotes continuous improvement and increases Enterprise Transformation success as relevant data is categorised into groups making the interface easier to navigate an otherwise large volume of IT repository data. #CollaborateIT
- Think who your Stakeholders are and the different perspectives of the Reference Catalogues they would be interested in accessing as together, then proceed to create these Viewpoints.
-
With Configured Viewpoints you can Drag your Catalogues (left pane) into multiple Viewpoint collections (right pane).
This allows filtering of Catalogues throughout Enterprise Modelling for easier navigation.
